Morganite Further Automates Processes with Additional Benefitfocus Technology Solutions
Benefitfocus HR InTouch™ keeps Morganite employees engaged and informed to help reduce costs
Charleston, S.C. – Dec. 10, 2009 – Benefitfocus® announced today its continued partnership with Morganite Industries to provide the company with additional healthcare benefits solutions to educate and empower its employees. Commanded with Benefitfocus HR InTouch capabilities, Morganite Industries will increase communication, provide more accurate and timely payroll information and streamline benefits administration all from one portal.
Benefitfocus HR InTouch is a powerful, customizable application designed to help employers communicate effectively with their employees about benefits, health and wellness, Human Resources policies, and other healthcare-related topics. Delivered via Benefitfocus’ Software as a Service model, HR InTouch will help Morganite’s employees make more informed benefits decisions and learn ways to take control of their health. The product connects benefits, payers, employees and payroll systems through a single portal, while allowing employers to maintain one system of record to centrally manage all their employee benefits.

Morganite Industries has been utilizing Benefitfocus eEnrollment™, privately labeled eBenefitsNow, since 2006. HR InTouch is tightly integrated with eEnrollment, which allows customers to electronically enroll in and manage their benefits. By combining these products, Morganite Industries can provide more personalized communication with employees, while reducing the administrative burden for its HR department.
Morganite Industries also signed on for payroll integration services through Payroll Connect. With this system, when the company enters new employees into its payroll system, they are automatically added to eEnrollment and employees can immediately make their initial benefit elections online. After they have selected their benefits, Payroll Connect sends the appropriate deduction amounts for each employee to the payroll system, eliminating the need for ongoing duplicate data entry. Payroll Connect also handles employee terminations, notifying insurance carriers immediately, resulting in more accurate healthcare and benefit invoices.

Morganite Industries also took advantage of the HR Support Center’s Dependent Eligibility Verification services. This add-on option ensures that the company is only paying benefits for qualified dependents.
